For our Department of Epidemiology and Health Systems, we are looking for a:
Screening Case Manager (80%)
Your main tasks will be as follows:
Ensure the management and updating of tracking tables (Excel and MC-SIS) for breast and colon cancer screening, guaranteeing the quality, reliability, and extraction of data.
Receive, verify, complete, and archive medical and administrative documents, collecting missing information from the relevant professionals and partners.
Analyze positive cases (cancers, atypical lesions, positive FIT, colonoscopies) and code medical data according to current recommendations and based on their: location, TNM stage, treatments, tumor markers, and procedures performed.
Ensure follow-up of positive and at-risk cases (positive FIT, colonoscopies with lesions, deferred polypectomies, additional assessments, ACR3), remind the involved parties, and refer sensitive situations to medical referents.
Update participants' sociodemographic data, record and digitize documents in dedicated systems (GED, MC-SIS), and ensure traceability of information.
Collaborate with the PVDC team to coordinate file follow-up, participate in quality controls, manage malfunctions via support tickets, and contribute to program evaluation activities.
Your assets:
Hold a CFC or equivalent training in the field of care.
Have solid knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical interventions.
Have at least 3 years of experience in medical coding or 7 years in a similar position.
Master common computer tools, especially the Office suite.
Have excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
Demonstrate a keen sense of organization, autonomy, as well as strong analytical and synthesis skills.
Show excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work in a team.
