The IG Sport SG is the umbrella organization of 43 sports associations in the canton of St. Gallen. It represents their interests as well as those of sports in general. On behalf of the cantonal government, the board of IG Sport SG forms the Sports Fund Commission. It is responsible within its area of competence for the appropriate use of lottery funds available to sports and the management of the quality label Sport-verein-t.
