The SV Group is a leading gastronomy and hotel management group based in Dübendorf near Zurich. The group operates in several business areas: restaurants for companies and schools, hotels with own brands as well as other renowned brands as franchisee, public restaurants with innovative concepts as well as gastronomic delivery service and catering. The SV Group employs around 5,800 people, of which 4,000 are in Switzerland.
The SV Group goes back to the non-profit organization "Schweizer Verband Soldatenwohl" founded in 1914. Else Züblin-Spiller established soldiers' lounges nationwide and served balanced and affordable meals there. The founder's idealistic values are continued today by the SV Foundation. This non-profit foundation is the majority shareholder of the SV Group and uses its funds for projects in the field of healthy nutrition and for the common good.
In the Alumni Lounge restaurant at ETH Hönggerberg, our host team with 11 employees pampers around 700 guests daily. The fresh and varied offer consists of weekly changing menus from the Weck jar. Every day, seven different pots are offered: Classic Pot, Curry Pot, Veggie Pot, Swiss Pot, Soup Pot, Budget Pot and Organic Pot. Homemade pastries such as tiramisu, Berliner, and Pastel de Nata complete the offer. From noon, the bar operation also starts. During the semester, special weekly events such as concerts, theater performances, quiz nights or theme evenings (open-air fondue, tartare and piano) take place. Our catering offers coffee breaks, meeting catering or special events throughout the Hönggerberg and surrounding area. We rely heavily on our homemade products.
You work between Monday and Friday, depending on the duty roster. The business is closed on weekends and public holidays.
