EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family day care, which includes about seventy family-based caregivers, eight preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. We are looking, for a maternity leave replacement, for a:
Childhood Educator ES/HES or Socio-educational Assistant CFC at 68.80% annualized
(reference 25.3 ESS)
The workplace is located at the UAPE of Essertines-sur-Yverdon, a facility situated in a nature-close environment, with a capacity of up to 60 places and welcoming children from 1st to 6th grade. The working days are spread over 4 days (excluding school holidays). Your mission:
- Provide quality support to the children received, ensuring their well-being and safety in compliance with the institutional project and current regulations.
- Identify quality-related issues based on your theoretical knowledge. Propose courses of action and implement them in the child's interest.
- Foster quality relationships and exchanges with children, families, colleagues, and external services.
Comfortable in communication, curious, creative, you wish to join a committed team that follows a pedagogy placing the child at the center of educational actions. You are recognized for your ability to work in a team, your listening skills, patience, and flexibility. You are Swiss or hold a valid residence permit as well as a clean criminal record. We offer:
