We are looking for a
Social Worker for Income Security 40–80 %
immediately or by agreement with the workplace in Näfels. The position is initially limited to one year.
Tasks
- Management of social assistance files and social counseling
- Review and calculation of entitlement to economic social assistance for individuals and families within the framework of the Social Assistance Act and SKOS guidelines
- Support in professional and social integration
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with other specialist offices, social insurances, and authorities
Requirements
- University of applied sciences degree in social work or a comparable tertiary education
- Experience in managing social assistance files
- Good knowledge of the Social Assistance Act and social insurance system
- Good communication and administrative skills
- High social competence, empathy, and ability to work in a team
- Independence, resilience, and assertiveness
