With your expertise and quality awareness, you actively contribute to product compliance and high customer satisfaction. At the same time, you always keep the big picture in mind and consistently optimize the cost-benefit ratio of our purchased products and services proactively and with real impact.
What you can achieve
- Responsibility for the operational procurement of components, assemblies, and services in the medical technology environment
- Ensuring timely material availability considering quality, costs, and regulatory requirements
- Execution of order processing, offer comparisons, as well as price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
- Support and further development of the existing supplier portfolio
- Close cooperation with production, quality assurance, development, and logistics to optimize procurement processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, MDR) in the procurement process
- Analysis of purchasing key figures as well as preparation of evaluations and reports for management
- Support in the introduction and further development of ERP and procurement systems
- Identification and implementation of process improvements in operational purchasing (CIP/Lean approaches)
- Risk and bottleneck management along the supply chain
What distinguishes you
- Several years of solid experience in operational purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing, regulated environment
- Completed commercial or technical basic training, supplemented by qualified further training in purchasing (e.g., purchasing specialist)
- Very good ERP knowledge, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Experience in the medical technology production environment is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel (evaluations, analyses, reports)
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are a plus
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style with high personal responsibility
- Strong intrinsic motivation as well as a high quality and solution-oriented approach
- High organizational skills and confident handling of complex procurement processes
- Systematic and precise approach even in a dynamic production environment
