Under the supervision of the Banquets-Palmeraie Manager, your main tasks include:

• Welcoming children (3 – 12 years old) and their families with a warm and caring attitude.

• Ensuring that only children who are hotel or brunch guests access the Kids Corner, accompanied by a parent.
• Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and friendly environment for the children.
• Constantly ensuring the safety, supervision, and monitoring of the children present.

• Ensuring compliance with the Kids Corner rules and procedures.

• Keeping toys, equipment, and spaces clean, tidy, and in good condition.

• Regularly checking the safety of the facilities and reporting any maintenance needs.

• Designing and animating fun and engaging activities for the children.

• Immediately informing the manager in case of incident or accident.

• Performing any other tasks assigned by the manager.

Key Skills

• Sense of responsibility and vigilance.

• Patience, creativity, and ability to entertain children.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Diploma or certification in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of safety standards and best practices in childcare.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.

• Neat appearance, attention to detail, and conscientious attitude.

• Ability to work both in a team and independently.

• Availability required: every Sunday during the 4 weeks following the Jazz Festival, as well as between Christmas and New Year.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

To be able to work in Switzerland, the candidate must hold a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
