The Kantonsschule Frauenfeld is a forward-looking school with three departments: Gymnasium, Fachmittelschule, and Informatikmittelschule. Our school community includes around 1000 young people and adults. The school has its own cafeteria, which is responsible for catering to school members as well as external persons. A diverse range of meals is produced daily, taking into account the requirements of a healthy and varied diet.
We are looking for a committed, professionally skilled, and competent person for our cafeteria team starting November 1, 2025, or by arrangement as
Your tasks
- Responsibility for preparing the daily dishes
- Leading or delegating tasks to employees
- Ensuring smooth operation in daily business
- Ordering in coordination with the cafeteria manager
- Managing the cafeteria in the absence of the person responsible (there is an option to take over the position of cafeteria manager in the near future if desired)
- Responsibility for our events
Your profile
- Professional training as a cook EFZ
- Several years of professional and leadership experience
- Experience in a cafeteria or canteen is an advantage
- Organizational and planning skills
- Independence and resilience
- IT skills (MS Office)
- Enjoyment of working in the education sector and a good rapport with young people
- Varied range of tasks
- Lively and modern working environment

- Mostly regular working hours (Mon. – Fri.)
