Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer (F/H/X) to join our team based in Zurich. You will be in charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases for embedded and application-level signaling software.
🔥Your missions:
- Verify and validate software components according to EN 50128/EN 50657 and related railway safety standards
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system-level tests for signaling applications
- Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to identify, analyze, and resolve defects
- Develop and maintain test environments, simulators, and test automation frameworks
- Prepare test documentation, including test plans, reports, and traceability records, in compliance with safety-critical development processes
- Support continuous improvement in testing methods, tools, and workflows
🎯Your profile:
- You have experience in software testing, ideally within safety-critical or embedded systems (railway, aerospace, automotive, or similar)
- You have a strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks (e.g., Python)
- You are familiar with safety-critical standards (EN 50128, EN 50657, ISO 26262, DO-178C, or similar)
- You are fluent in English. German is a plus.
- You have an analytical mindset, a structured way of working, and attention to detail
