Supervising Specialist Night and Weekend MNA 80 to 100% in Ibach SZ (m/f/d) - limited until 31.03.2026
Caritas Switzerland operates asylum centers for families, individuals, and unaccompanied minors (MNA) at several locations on behalf of the canton of Schwyz. As a night and weekend supervisor, you are responsible for the personal and age-appropriate care of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers during the night, on weekends, and public holidays at the MNA center in Ibach. The position is available immediately and limited until 31.03.2026.
Your tasks
- Introduction, guidance, and support of residents on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, order, and cleanliness
- Co-responsibility for creating a good home atmosphere
- Co-responsibility for compliance with house rules and safety in the center
- Preparation of reports and internal and external information sharing
- Implementation of cleaning and hygiene concepts
- Regular rounds and presence
- Participation in activities and animation
- Attendance at monthly team meetings
- Shift work with sole responsibility, focusing on daytime during weekends
Our requirements
- Completed training
- Experience in the migration field and/or youth work desirable
- Good knowledge of the German language as well as good oral skills in English, additional foreign language skills are an advantage
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- High resilience and stress tolerance as well as conflict management skills
- Flexibility, resilience, and assertiveness
- Initiative, independence, and a high level of work organization
- Willingness to work varying shifts Cultural openness
- High sense of responsibility and duty
- Impeccable reputation and valid work permit
