The Opportunity
In this role, you can expect a challenging and varied task where you will strengthen our high-performance laboratory as a technically skilled all-rounder with foresight. Together with our test engineers, you will conduct tests with circuit breakers. You are the central contact person and ensure that operations run smoothly, that our test system with short-circuit generator functions technically flawlessly, and you actively respond to malfunctions.
What You Can Achieve
- Setting up the test system for operation
- Preparation and assembly of measurements and tests
- Operation of the short-circuit generator as well as other control devices and measuring instruments required for the tests
- Ensuring smooth operation of the system during operational testing
- Maintenance, expansion, and renewal of electrical and mechanical systems in the high-performance laboratory
- Support during maintenance work and necessary revisions on the system (auxiliary switches, generator, etc.)
- Creation of documentation for the work and revisions carried out
What You Bring
- Completed vocational training in an electrical engineering profession
- Solid knowledge in the safe handling of electricity
- Professional experience in the maintenance of systems and/or power plants
- Good German language skills
- Ideally, knowledge in electrical system technology in test laboratory operations, as well as in control technology, measurement technology, and control engineering
- Experience with aerial work platforms and overhead cranes is an advantage
- English skills are an advantage
