Nanny for 2 Children from February/March 2026

Task

Comprehensive childcare; playing, indoors and outdoors, crafting, painting, reading, physical activity, etc., as well as preparing and eating meals together

• Care of 2 children (born 2021 and 2026), usually only 1 child is cared for at a time and more often the baby.
• Varied daily activities (playing, reading aloud, crafting, visiting playgrounds, going into nature, etc.) and active support of the children in their development.
• Putting children to bed during evening shifts.
• Cooking meals for all present on Tue/Wed/Thu (adults + children) as well as washing up and cleaning table/floor after meals if necessary.

All tasks that arise in everyday life with children: tidying up, shopping, washing or caring for children's clothes, packing and unpacking backpacks, refilling snack boxes, pick-up/drop-off, etc.

Requirements

• Genuine joy in babies/children
• Experience in caring for children and especially babies, preferably in a private household.
• Pedagogical knowledge, training is a plus.
• Speaks German at least at B2 level, understands Swiss German spoken by children.
• Patient, empathetic, and loving in dealing with babies and children.
• Flexibility regarding working hours, especially during school holidays.
• High initiative (sees the work), responsible, reliable, and discreet.
• Intention to work with us for several years.

Note

The other child is often also cared for at home by another person (parents, grandparents), so the nanny must feel comfortable with this.

The mother will be on maternity leave until 12/1/26 or 1/1/27 and will also be at home. During this time, shifts can be reduced on request (especially Tue/Fri).
