The Téléverbier Group offers its customers (1 million skier days/year) one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland with its 38 facilities and slopes at 3300m altitude. During the peak season, it employs nearly 500 collaborators.
TV - Observation Internship - Orientation Cycle (Valais) and Adults in Career Change
As a training company, we offer observation internships intended both for students of the Valais Orientation Cycle and for adults wishing to discover a new profession or consider a career change.
These internships allow exploring various technical professions related to mechanics, mountain infrastructure, and metalwork. The goal is to offer a realistic, safe, and adapted immersion according to each person's level, regardless of age or background.
Your tasks:
Depending on the observed profession, the student may:
Mechanical Lifts / Mechanical Lift Mechatronics Technician
- Observe teams during inspections and maintenance of the facilities
- Discover the operation of cabins, pylons, engines, and safety systems
- Attend demonstrations of tooling or technical diagnostics
- Participate in small simple tasks (material preparation, tidying up)
Metal Construction
- Observe the manufacturing and assembly of metal parts
- Discover the machines and tools used in the workshop
- Understand the stages of metal transformation
- Assist with non-hazardous tasks (sorting, tidying, preparation)
Mechanic / Construction Machinery Mechanic
- Observe repairs and maintenance of vehicles or machines
- Discover the tools and equipment used in the workshop
- Understand the steps of a mechanical diagnosis
- Participate in adapted activities (cleaning parts, organizing the workshop)
Your profile:
- Open to students of the Valais Orientation Cycle and adults (career change, orientation)
- Motivation to discover a technical profession
- Strict respect for safety instructions
- Curiosity, punctuality, and respectful attitude
- For minors: parental authorization and school documents required
