You will join a specialized medico-social establishment whose mission is to welcome elderly blind or visually impaired people in an environment that promotes autonomy, independence, and quality of life.

Mission
- Under the responsibility of the nurse or ASSC, you organize and provide the delegated care and apply all received instructions
- You support the residents and their families in all life situations at the Foyer du Vallon
- You are the referent for several residents and clearly communicate information to your entire team
Daily tasks
- Personal hygiene care
- Pressure sore prevention
- Assistance in the dining room
- Distribution of snacks
- Monitoring proper nutrition
- Room maintenance
- Observation and monitoring
- Responding to various requests
- Information transmission
Profile sought
Prerequisites for the position
- Red Cross health auxiliary certificate or ASA or AS certification
- Experience as a nursing assistant with elderly people, in an institution or at home
- Sensitivity to the specific care required for visual impairment
- Willingness to work irregular hours (weekends, public holidays, split shifts)
- Proficiency in French, spoken and written, minimum B1 level

- Comfortable with computer use (SIEMS is a plus)
- Ability to work in a team and multidisciplinary environment
