As a Solution Architect, you create digital platforms in close collaboration with engineering teams and various business lines and support new business models. You act as a technical lead and coach for the less experienced team members.
Your tasks
- You lead the teams through the entire project cycle, from the initial conception through business requirements, software architecture, and implementation to flawless handover
- You advise our customers in technological and architectural matters, create strategic roadmaps, provide technical recommendations, and assist with implementation
- You support pre-sales in tenders regarding inquiries, proof-of-concept work, and the design of cloud solutions, focusing on security, flexibility, compliance, costs, and performance
- You participate in ELCA's group-wide thought leadership initiatives aimed at advancing our architecture practice and maintaining high technical competence

Your profile
- Technical degree from a university/ETH/FH
- 6+ years of experience in developing and implementing complex software solutions
- Practical experience in developing distributed systems and microservices, with a deep understanding of operational concerns such as scalability, fault tolerance, and observability
- Good knowledge of best practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, agile methods, automated testing, and code quality
- Experience with container and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Solid knowledge of integration patterns and best practices such as synchronous vs. asynchronous communication, RESTful APIs, messaging, and publish-subscribe
- Knowledge of identity providers and authentication and authorization processes to secure microservices with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
- Fluent in German and English, French is an advantage
