The Holzweid Training Center (WBZ) is located in the green Rotmonten district, close to the University of St.Gallen and the city. Our operation consists of a very modern, attractive campus with two seminar buildings and a guesthouse with 54 rooms. The state-of-the-art seminar rooms offer an ideal infrastructure for seminars, workshops, and conferences of up to 300 people. For every occasion, we offer the appropriate culinary selection: whether it is a quick, healthy lunch menu or an elegant banquet with regional dishes.
You belong to a dynamic, forward-looking, and highly motivated team (a total of 23 employees) and are an essential part and important pillar of our operation
Your tasks
- Management and coordination of digital projects and measures
- Evaluation and introduction of a new MICE and seminar tool
- Data protection officer of the WBZ
- Assistant function for the management and the administration team
- Representation in accounts receivable management during vacation periods
- Co-responsible for the optimal utilization of the Alumni House (Guest House) and the seminar area
- Occasional assignments at the reception
- Participation in management meetings, minute-taking of meetings
- Monitoring and optimizing IT and other contracts
- Creating statistics and presentations
Your additional tasks:
- Organizing and conducting team training
- Quality management tasks
- Proactive management of internal and external communication
- Interface management between departments, specialist departments, and stakeholders
- Project management
Your profile
- Further training as an executive assistant with commercial basic training EFZ or degree in hotel communication (HF)
- Professional experience in the hotel industry or a guest-oriented sector (e.g., front desk manager) is mandatory
- Experience in project management
- Proficient use of hotel reservation systems (ideally Mews) as well as Microsoft 365, OneNote, Teams, and Excel
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
