Communications Consultant / Project Coordinator 70 - 80%The Department of Public Education, together with partners in schools and communities, shapes a high-quality, modern public school for all. We see ourselves as a service and competence center for schools in the canton of Zurich.
The advertised position is located in the staff unit, which supports the management in carrying out its tasks. The areas of communication and project coordination are particularly included in the responsibilities.
From June 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for an experienced communications consultant / project coordinator who advises our internal customers and manages the project portfolio.
Your area of responsibility
- Advising internal specialists on communication issues
- Quality assurance and maintenance of the web presence
- Various communication and coordination tasks
- Coordination, support, and controlling of projects as well as the preparation of decision-making bases for management
- Supporting project managers in applying the project management method "Hermes"
Your profile
You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills. You have acquired these through several years of consulting experience, ideally in a communications agency and/or through solid training in the field of communication. CMS, accessibility, and AI agents are not foreign terms to you. In addition, you bring proven experience in project management and ideally recognized further training. With your presentation skills, you can inspire customers and team colleagues for topics and projects and perform administrative tasks as efficiently as editorial and conceptual tasks. Knowledge of the Zurich educational landscape and the project management method "Hermes" is an advantage.
