Nursing Assistant for the Infectious Diseases Department
To complete our team, the Infectious Diseases Department is looking for a nursing assistant at an 80% activity rate for a permanent contract (CDI). Start date: from September 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Our department provides highly specialized medical services in the fields of epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of infectious diseases. The working hours are 8:30 shifts, day and evening (no night shifts), 7 days a week.
Mission
The certified nursing assistant, under the responsibility and delegation of the nursing staff:
- participates in care, support, and assistance with daily living activities
- participates in accompaniment in chronic, crisis, and end-of-life situations
- observes the patient and communicates information related to the evolution of their condition
- participates in health maintenance and disease and accident prevention actions
- ensures the maintenance of equipment and the patient's immediate environment
- contributes to improving the quality and efficiency of care.
Profile
- You hold a nursing assistant diploma, mandatory
- You are a dynamic, committed, autonomous, flexible, motivated person with a sense of responsibility
- You have strong interpersonal skills, a good team spirit, and adaptability
- You demonstrate excellent mastery of the French language, both oral and written (level C1).
Depending on your profile, the salary scale will be between level 3 and level 4.
