City Green Winterthur plans, maintains, and manages the green and open spaces, the forest, the Bruderhaus wildlife park, the five cemeteries, as well as the crematorium of the garden city Winterthur. Our services are central to the quality of the garden city Winterthur as a residential and business location.

Your Tasks

Leading groups of 5-8 employees with the goal of differentiated and sustainable care of green and open spaces

Representing the head gardener in their absence. (Personnel and reporting, customer contacts, general correspondence, and client representation)

Planning and organizing all maintenance work as well as garden modifications and renovation work

Competent and safe operation of general maintenance and construction machinery

Assisting in the development and implementation of area-specific projects

Your Profile

Completed apprenticeship as a gardener EFZ with specialization in garden and landscape construction with corresponding further training to foreman / head gardener, prior knowledge of nature-oriented garden care desired

Leadership experience and organizational skills as well as several years of experience in green space maintenance

Teamwork skills, high independence, and role model behavior

High safety and risk awareness and ability to solve challenges systematically

Driver's license category BE
