! This role lasts initially for 6 months with possible extension, where only freelancing is available as form of cooperation.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- In this exciting role, you manage the operational logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials while maintaining product quality and safety.
- You collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and transportation partners to perform supply chain processes.
- Within the agreed logistic strategies, flows and processes, responsible to coordinate and monitor shipments from the storage sites to the CMOs.
- Prepare shipment documentation
- Ensure all required licenses and permits are in place prior to shipment.
- Resolve logistic issues with all logistic partners to make sure products are delivered in due time and expected quality.
- Perform transactions in SAP for the movement of vaccines related materials between sites.
- Gather inventory information from vaccines related materials for periodic inventory reviews.
- Review and approval of logistics suppliers invoices.
- Oversee and manage inventories and supplies of temperature loggers and thermal blankets.
- Assist in developing shipping procedures and general shipment guidelines.
- Provide input for operations and business review meetings with Logistics suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics operations (Min. 2 years), preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on cold chain logistics.
- Knowledge of legal export/import requirements and shipping document preparation.
- Excellent understanding of GMP materials management and global shipping.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
- Excellent communication and relationship skills.
- The ability to collaborate with Logistics suppliers and CMOs in a supportive work environment.
- Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
