In this key position, you take overall responsibility for the highly available operation (24/7) of several data centers in the region. Together with your team, you ensure the safe, efficient, and economical operation of a business-critical infrastructure and are the central contact person for customers and internal stakeholders.
Your main tasks:
- Professional and personnel management of a specialized team of 7–10 employees
- Responsibility for technical building management (operation, maintenance, inspection) of several data center locations
- Ensuring technical availability including fault, escalation, and emergency management
- Planning and implementation of maintenance, renewal, and optimization projects
- Single point of contact for the key customer including ensuring agreed service levels
- Budget, cost, and contract responsibility
- Organization and active participation in the on-call and emergency organization
Your profile:
- Technical education HF/FH or equivalent (e.g., electrical engineering, building technology, automation, HVAC)
- Several years of experience in technically demanding operational environments, ideally data centers or critical infrastructure
- Experience in personnel management of technical specialists
- Structured, solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility
- High customer and service orientation
- Very good German and good English skills, French is an advantage
- Willingness for on-call and special deployments
