YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of the Field Engineering team (approx. 5 employees)
- Positioning Field Engineering as the contact point for complex, recurring, and systemic errors – from type tests to the warranty phase
- Participation in the further development of standards, methods, and processes in Field Engineering (e.g., analysis procedures, knowledge management, reporting)
- Operational work in Field Engineering focusing on complex, recurring, and systemic error patterns from type tests to the warranty phase
- Structured fault finding and root cause analysis on the vehicle and in the system environment as well as testing and securing solutions
- Close cooperation with Engineering, project team, and internal and external interfaces to clarify error patterns, coordinate measures, and follow up on implementation
- Ensuring consistent, comprehensible documentation of fault finding and analysis results as well as clear communication internally and externally
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Technical basic training as well as a technical degree (HF/FH/ETH) or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Field Engineering / Service / Commissioning in an industrial project environment
- Several years of experience in leading teams (disciplinary and/or technical)
- Experience in the rail vehicle industry is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and structured approach to complex technical problems
- High independence, hands-on mentality, and assertiveness in dealing with different stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance, even in demanding situations
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (at least level B2)
- Willingness to travel 50%
