Task
Your tasks- Securing evidence at serious criminal offenses as well as the resulting forensic technical evaluations and investigations
- Providing physical evidence for investigative and prosecutorial authorities as well as preparing the corresponding reports
- Conducting identification procedures
- Evaluating forensic securing and analysis methods
- Participating in projects and in the further development of the accredited quality management system
Requirements
Your profile- Bachelor/Master in Forensic Sciences (University of Lausanne) or equivalent education
- High psychological resilience, teamwork skills, and confidentiality

Your work environment
The Zug Police provide security, traffic, criminal, and administrative police services for the benefit of the canton and its population. The criminal police investigate crimes and clarify them. They search for perpetrators and look for evidence that serves as a basis for the public prosecutor's office and courts in assessing criminal acts.
Forensic evidence securing and analysis is carried out in close cooperation with the criminal police special services, the public prosecutor's office of the canton of Zug, and external partners.
