Administration
File Manager at the Medical Directorate
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a file manager with an activity rate of 70% to 80% on a fixed-term contract of 6 months, renewable for an additional 6 months, within the Medical Directorate.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Attached to the Medical Directorate, the Insurance Inquiry Management Unit is responsible for centralizing and processing all medical information requests from insurers for patients cared for at CHUV.
Mission
- You will process medical information requests from insurers for patients cared for at CHUV
- You will administratively follow up on file requests in collaboration with insurers, CHUV clinical services, the Patient Administrative Management service (GAP), as well as the medical coding, control, and archiving center (CCAM)
- You will collaborate in the overall management of the unit's requests
- You will inform internal and external requesters about procedures.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You are familiar with the hospital field and the computer applications used (SOARIAN, ARCHIMEDE, AXYA, QUALIAC, UTRAGENDA, etc.), as well as medical terminology
- You master basic computer tools (Word, Excel, etc.) and have experience in data management
- You are sociable by nature and enjoy working in a team
- You like to communicate and have good analytical skills
- You are dynamic, organized, and have good adaptability and learning abilities.
Depending on your profile, the salary class will be between level 5 and 6.
