For our GMP contract laboratory on a growth path, we are looking for a Microbiology Laboratory Technician for our laboratory (m/f/d, 80-100%) to start as soon as possible.

Job Description

• Independent execution of analyses on pharmaceutical samples using all qualified analytical instruments available in the laboratory according to GMP regulations and SOP
• Focus: Microbiological testing of environmental monitoring samples (water, surfaces, air) and non-sterile products
• Incoming inspection and recording of sample data and orders
• Independent documentation of work in protocols or worksheets
• Entry of test results into our LIMS system
• Content control (e.g., completeness) of raw data, worksheets, result entries (peer review)
• Participation in the procurement of consumables, management, and stocking in cooperation with laboratory management
• Maintenance work (e.g., cleaning, re-qualifications) according to plan (Metrology)
• Proper deactivation and disposal of biological waste
• Participation in GMP-compliant archiving
• Self-study of assigned documents (e.g., SOP revisions)
• Support in process optimizations and continuous development of the site

Qualifications

• Laboratory technician with a federal certificate of competence or equivalent professional experience in the analytical field under GMP
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a regulated environment (ISO 17025, GLP, ideally GMP)
• You are a team player, responsible, and reliable
• Efficient working style
• High resilience and reliability, even under heavy workload
• Good understanding of IT and office applications, ideally experience with LIMS systems
• Very good German and good English skills
• French skills are an advantage
