For our Innovation & Data Analytics Team in Group Internal Audit based in Zurich, we are looking for a full-time Data Scientist/Analyst.
IHRE AUFGABEN
As a Data Scientist/Analyst you will support our Innovation & Data Analytics Team in its mission to further develop our data analytics capabilities within the Group Internal Audit function:

Improve the Internal Audit database and build data pipelines to enable analytical tasks

Write high-quality software and queries to process and investigate large data sets from different sources

Together with the team design rich data visualization to communicate complex insights

Develop business use cases to identify opportunities for standardization and automation, supporting the development of Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Support and potentially lead data analytics and business intelligence initiatives to success

Support the periodic risk assessment process as well as global and local audit projects with insightful data analysis and solutions

Work closely with Lead Auditors and Specialists to design solutions using different analytical principles to optimize procedures (including ruleset, controls and documentation) for audits, project reviews, regulatory and special audits as well as forensic investigations

Develop and execute regular and ad-hoc analysis, reports and dashboards

Interact with the Internal Audit team and various data analytics teams across the bank to foster knowledge exchange and continuous improvement of our tools and processes

Take an active role at the intersection between business and technology
YOUR PROFILE

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar), Master’s degree preferred with 1-3 years experience in a data analytics/data science position

Background in finance, banking and risk management / audit is an advantage
-
Proficient in programming (SQL is a must, strong knowledge of Python etc.)

Experience in developing and maintaining ETL flows and data pipelines

Coding experience using different programming languages and low-code tools (e.g. Dataiku) and experience in data visualization (e.g. Tableau and/or PowerBI) are a strong plus

Demonstrated ability to assemble data sets from various sources and analyze them using appropriate methodologies

Passionate about leveraging data and statistics to solve complex problems

Can-do attitude with a passion to retrieve and communicate sharp insights from structured and unstructured data

Pro-active and open-minded personality

High-level of confidentiality, integrity and responsibility to deal with critical and confidential data

Strong communication skills in English and German
