To complement our P&C Department, which offers our clients high-level claims management services, we are looking for an Expert in Property, Liability, and Construction Damage Claims for the Chablais and Valais region.

The various tasks awaiting you:

• In your assigned geographical area, fully manage material damage claims files related to Property, Liability, and Construction insurance within your competencies and in compliance with applicable guidelines and instructions
• Implement technical assessments and collaborate with other specialists (internal and external)
• Negotiate settlements and amicable transactions regarding material damage and business interruption losses with insured parties, claimants, lawyers, and other insurers
• Take charge of occasional assignments entrusted to you by the Legal & Complex Cases department in the P&C branches within their area of expertise, by carrying out local investigative measures
• Establish and maintain a network of experts and companies operating in your geographical area
• Contribute to knowledge transfer by providing your technical support and participating in the ongoing training of damage experts and internal service staff
• Contribute to the profitability of the P&C portfolio by actively collaborating with our underwriting services and raising awareness within our sales network

What makes you unique:

• Commercial employee certificate (CFC) or equivalent, specialist training in private insurance with a federal diploma or equivalent, legal training is a plus
• Several years of professional experience in managing complex material damage claims (Property, Liability, and Construction). Experience in personal injury claims would be an additional asset
• Ability to work independently, stress resistance, empathy, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines, good writing skills
• Proficiency in common IT tools (MS Office)
• Native French speaker, good knowledge of English or German is an advantage
