Trainer Carpenter 100%The Uitikon Measures Center (MZU) is the socio-pedagogical-therapeutic competence center of JuWe for the penal and measures enforcement of juvenile and young adult offenders.
For our open department, we are looking for a committed personality as a trainer in the carpentry workshop starting March 2026 or by arrangement.
A task for people who love their craft and enjoy passing on their knowledge.
You will tackle this
- You take over the practical vocational training as well as the individual support of several young offenders and accompany them during their basic training as a carpenter EFZ or EBA
- You independently and proactively plan, organize, and structure the work preparation – from planning to implementation including assembly
- With targeted pedagogical guidance, you promote the professional as well as the social skills of the young people
- You regularly assess the performance of the young people based on monthly qualifications and document the individual development process in meaningful progress reports
- In addition, you actively participate in diverse customer orders and contribute your expertise and experience with commitment
What you bring
- You are a trained carpenter EFZ and know the workshop routine from practice
- Ideally, you already have the SVEB training or are motivated to complete it soon
- You are a carpenter all-rounder with joy in craftsmanship and open to digital work preparation (Vectorworks interiorcad / Triviso) as well as CNC processing (NC-Hops)
- You enjoy training and supporting apprentices; initial experience is an advantage
- You have a good command of German in spoken and written form and are proficient with MS Office in everyday life
- You are physically and mentally resilient and remain calm and composed even in demanding situations
- Your reputation is impeccable, and you are at least 28 years old
