These are your tasks
- Support and represent the department head in the technical and personnel management of around 30 project and construction managers
- Be responsible for the department’s resource planning
- Design and optimize process workflows
- Lead projects with interdisciplinary project teams
- Represent the interests of Energie Wasser Bern in project committees
- Support project managers in construction in public spaces
- Optimize interfaces with third parties and ewb departments
- Accompany your own team in various project phases with internal tasks such as credit procurement, building permits, tendering
- Monitor compliance with target specifications regarding quality, costs, and deadlines in projects
What distinguishes you
- University degree in engineering sciences (HF/FH/ETH), ideally in the field of construction or energy technology
- Experience in operational management
- Several years of experience as a project manager / client representative and in leading interdisciplinary project teams
- Assertive, decisive, and communicative personality
- Interest in social and political contexts in projects in public spaces
- Experience with the requirements of public procurement
- Enjoy working on developing solutions for water and energy networks in public spaces
