About the job
At the heart of West Lausanne, the City of Chavannes-près-Renens, with nearly 12,000 inhabitants, is experiencing a period of accelerated development and growth. To complete the Youth Sector team, attached to the Social Cohesion Service, the Municipality is recruiting:
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or equivalent training (specialized education, socio-cultural/community animation, social assistant...)
- At least 3 years of proven experience in street and proximity work with young people (11-25 years), with a particular interest in the 16-25 age group (compulsory school partnership)
- Strong understanding of social realities and issues specific to youth;
- Ability to establish contact and create a trusting relationship over time with young people;
- Ability to act as a mediator and work in a network;
- Initiative and autonomy;
- Flexible hours and availability.
