As part of Global Supply Chain Management, Global Procurement is responsible for managing purchasing materials (including mechanical, drawing-bound materials). For our "Sourcing Engineering" team at the headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for a motivated and committed person as a Sourcing Engineer 100% (all genders). In this role, you will take on the following tasks: Continuous technical support of the categories "Machined Parts" and "Fabricated Sheet Metals" including supplier and item portfolio, in close cooperation with the "Strategic Buyer" and "Market Technology Engineers" (strategies) Ensuring the fulfillment of our high-quality requirements by the suppliers Accompanying change management (ECM) within the assigned categories Conducting supplier audits and PPAPs Participation in projects as an interface between purchasing and R&D: advising R&D on design and specifications, supporting the selection of suitable technology, conducting workshops in collaboration with suppliers and R&D Overall cost optimization considering commercial, operational, and technical aspects
