To complete the staff of the Signaling Unit, we are looking for a person for a date to be agreed upon:
SPECIALIZED SIGNALING WORKER (100%)
Your mission:
Under the responsibility of the unit head, you actively participate in the installation, maintenance, and dismantling of permanent and temporary road signage. You ensure the safety of road users by complying with the current VSS standards. You participate in site meetings for signage related to the VSS 40 886 standard and replace the unit head during their absences.
Your main activities:
- Install and maintain vertical signage (panels, beacons, supports, etc.) and temporary signage related to construction sites or special events.
- Ensure the application of safety regulations by performing the necessary checks.
- Read and interpret installation and placement plans.
- Respond to various emails via the service address.
We expect:
- Federal VET diploma or 10 years of experience in a company related to signage and marking.
- Understanding of standards (VSS) regarding road signage and marking; as well as 40 886 for construction sites.
- Ease in work organization.
- Good writing skills in French and proficiency with computer tools.
- Good physical condition (carrying heavy loads) and manual dexterity (repair work).
- Autonomy, rigor, team spirit, and a strong sense of public service.
- Availability in the evenings and on weekends.
- Driving license B required.
- Swiss or C permit, residing in Switzerland.
