Tasks:
- The Medical Assessment Service (SAM) is a center specialized in conducting multidisciplinary, bi- and monodisciplinary medical expert reports, working in accordance with the best medical knowledge and insurance medicine, and is responsible, on behalf of the Disability Insurance and various insurance and/or legal institutions (district courts and tribunals), for the assessment of complex clinical cases
- The psychiatrist provides the Medical Assessment Service (SAM) with specific specialist skills that ensure the preparation of the part of the expert reports requested by the Disability Insurance, as well as by various insurance and legal institutions (district courts and tribunals), for the purpose of assessing complex clinical cases
- Consultations are conducted in compliance with the principles related to the quality of the expert report
- Actively collaborates with other SAM specialists and any partners involved in the territory
- Ensures on-call duty in the territory as provided by the "OSC Medical Guards and On-call Regulations"
Requirements:
- Medical diploma (or equivalent qualification)
- FMH specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy (or equivalent qualification)
- SIM (Swiss Insurance Medicine) expert title
- Authorization for independent practice in the Canton of Ticino issued by the Health Office
- Teamwork skills
- Knowledge of the territory and the socio-psychiatric care network of the Canton of Ticino
- Perfect command of the Italian language and knowledge of another official language
Special remarks:
- Employment relationship: appointment (art. 15 and 16 LORD), temporarily authorized until December 31, 2027

- The candidate not yet in possession of the authorization for independent practice in the Canton of Ticino, the language proficiency certificate (Italian-B2), and, in the case of foreign qualifications, the recognition issued by the Medical Professions Commission Mebeko for both the medical diploma and the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy (or equivalent qualification), must obtain all requirements before starting activities as established during the selection process. Failure to obtain the requirements will result in automatic termination of the appointment
- The actual start of activities of the selected candidate is subject to the issuance of the authorization for independent practice in the Canton of Ticino issued by the Health Office of the Canton of Ticino

Employment conditions:
- Appointment or assignment: as provided by the Law on the Organization of State Employees and Teachers of March 15, 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organization are explicitly reserved
- Working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
