Senior Physician in the Radiodiagnosis and Interventional Radiology Department
The Radiodiagnosis and Interventional Radiology Department is looking for a senior physician for its interventional radiology unit, with a workload between 80% and 100%.
👉 Join a unit equipped with a state-of-the-art technical platform and actively participate in the development of high-level interventional radiology within a leading university hospital.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Radiodiagnosis and Interventional Radiology Department is dedicated to diagnosis and medical treatment based on radiological imaging.
The Interventional Radiology Unit has a cutting-edge technical platform including all current technologies and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Its activity is particularly developed in hepatic, visceral, and oncological pathologies, as well as in benign vascular and thyroid pathologies.
Mission
- You ensure and contribute to the excellence of clinical services in interventional and diagnostic radiology
- You participate in an interventional radiology on-call duty
- You develop and actively participate in clinical research and university teaching
- You contribute to the strategic management and representation of the department.
Profile
- You hold a specialist title in radiology or a foreign title recognized by MEBEKO
- You have completed the EBIR (European Board of Interventional Radiology) training or equivalent
- You have confirmed experience in interventional radiology, ideally in an academic center with documented research activity
- You demonstrate a strong ability to integrate within a highly specialized team
- You have a marked interest in training, teaching, and research
- You show excellent organizational skills, rigor, and precision
- You possess excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- You demonstrate proficiency in French (minimum C1 level) and good oral and written English skills.
