As a Recruitment & Event Coordinator, you are responsible for smooth, first-class, and innovative service delivery in the area of events and conferences for our client from the financial sector at a premium location in the city of Zurich. The conference office manages rooms in several buildings of the client and takes care of everything from simple meeting room bookings to organizing high-end events with over 250 participants.
Your main tasks:
- Accepting reservations for meeting rooms, conferences, town halls, innovation spaces, etc. via phone, email, and in person on site
- Creating confirmations, coordinating, and planning events using the in-house reservation tool
- Clarifying the needs and requirements of the service requester (conducting detailed agreements), documenting and organizing accordingly
- Accepting reservations according to specifications, processing and confirming them in the reservation tool
- Providing individual customer support during the event
- Ensuring a smooth event process including event supervision
- Close collaboration with the involved departments (catering, facility management, and technical services)
Your profile:
- Completed commercial or hospitality training
- Professional experience in a reservation office and/or in upscale hospitality
- Very good German and English skills, additional languages are an advantage
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office)
- User knowledge of a reservation tool is desired
- Service-oriented
