JOB VACANCY 22509.5466 INITIAL SITUATION: Do you feel at home in sea freight and want to manage orders from A to Z? Whether LCL or FCL, import or export – in this position you are right in the middle of international goods traffic, coordinating transports across the oceans and ensuring that containers arrive on time and smoothly. TASKS: • handling sea freight imports and exports in the LCL and FCL area • creating B/Ls, customs documents, and accompanying papers • organizing pre- and on-carriage by truck • coordinating with shipping companies, terminals, and international partners • monitoring transit times, deadlines, and container movements • maintaining customer and order data in the system • calculating and preparing offers • resolving discrepancies, complaints, and special cases REQUIREMENTS: • completed training as a freight forwarding clerk or comparable qualification • 3–4 years of professional experience in sea freight handling (LCL/FCL) mandatory • solid knowledge of customs and transport regulations • precise, reliable, and customer-oriented working style LANGUAGES: German: native English: good (at forwarding level) START DATE: short-term by arrangement WORK LOCATION: Zurich region (Kloten and surroundings) SPECIAL: In this role, you take responsibility for international sea freight orders from A to Z.
