Job Description
We are looking for you as an Accounting & Controlling Manager 100% by agreement
As an Accounting & Controlling Manager, you are the financial heart of our hotel. You ensure that all processes in accounting, controlling, and purchasing run smoothly and contribute significantly to economic decisions being based on solid figures. In your role, you act as an interface between various departments and external partners and help to make processes efficient, transparent, and harmonious.
- You take responsibility for managing and monitoring all financial and business processes of the hotel – numbers are your tool with which you create harmony between costs and revenues
- Ensuring smooth operational accounting, controlling, and purchasing as well as timely and accurate financial reporting
- You prepare monthly and annual financial statements, evaluate the results, and derive recommendations for management – for you, numbers are not just facts but stories you tell
- Co-responsibility for forecasts and budgets, development of annual plans, projections, and meaningful statistics as well as conducting variance and ad-hoc analyses
- You ensure procurement controlling and proper inventory management so that everything flows smoothly and efficiently
- Support in maintaining ERP systems – structure and order are your strengths.
- Support for management and contact person for department heads in all financial matters, including optimization of business processes
- You ensure compliance with legal requirements, manage contract administration, and are responsible for invoicing, dunning, and debt collection – you keep the financial framework of the hotel harmoniously together
Qualifications
- You have solid experience in the hotel industry, as well as in accounting & controlling, and know the processes of a hotel from your own practice
- Numbers are your world: You love analyzing data, recognizing connections, and deriving clear recommendations
- You work structured, reliably, and precisely, master monthly and annual financial statements as well as forecasts, budgets, and contribution margin calculations.
- Experience in operational accounting, controlling, and procurement controlling as well as ERP system administration complete your profile
- You are communicative and team-oriented, support management and department heads equally, and are a trustworthy sparring partner.
- You think entrepreneurially, recognize optimization potentials, and bring ideas to make business processes more efficient and harmonious
- Resilience, flexibility, and initiative characterize you – you take responsibility, also in projects
