Project Manager of Security Concepts & Security Organization in Schools (60%) starting January 15, 2026, or by agreement.
In this versatile and responsible role, you will make a significant contribution to the safety and protection of students and staff at the Zurich secondary and vocational schools (secondary level II).
For the professional consultation and support of secondary schools in security matters, the Office for Secondary and Vocational Education (MBA) is looking for a committed and experienced
Project Manager of Security Concepts & Security Organization in Schools (60%) starting January 15, 2026, or by agreement.
In this versatile and responsible role, you will make a significant contribution to the safety and protection of students and staff at the Zurich secondary and vocational schools (secondary level II).
Your main tasks
- Consultation on the development and implementation of crisis and security concepts for secondary and vocational schools.
- Consultation and support for school management in security-relevant processes and projects.
- Expert advice on security-oriented planning and design of school facilities in collaboration with the Department of Buildings of the Education Directorate.
- Participation in interdisciplinary working groups and projects on the topic of safety.
- Close collaboration with the specialist department for violence prevention and other departments of the MBA.
- Assistance in the conception and implementation of training and awareness-raising offers for schools
Your profile
- Technical background in security, ideally with professional experience in police, security, or facility management, or a comparable environment.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in the development and implementation of crisis, emergency, and security concepts.
- Project management experience or the willingness to acquire it. Strong conceptual and networked thinking.
- Ideally, knowledge of the school environment and the processes of educational institutions.
- High consulting competence, strong communication skills (written and oral), and a confident demeanor.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange with different stakeholders
