The University of Teacher Education of Grisons (ASP GR) is a university school with cantonal responsibility. With about 140 employees as well as about 520 students in the bachelor and master study cycles, it supports teachers in all phases of their careers. The educational offer includes bachelor study cycles for kindergarten and primary school as well as master study cycles, advanced study certificates, and specialized supplementary training in German, Romansh, and Italian. It is the only trilingual university school in Switzerland. The main research focuses in the school sector are the issues of "multilingualism," "school and STEM," and "educational sciences."
For ASP GR, we are looking for two members of the university school council starting July 1, 2026.
- The university school council is the strategic management and control body of ASP GR, and its members are appointed by the Government of the Canton of Grisons. Due to the limitation of the term of office, for the term 2026 – 2030, we are looking for two members as additional members starting July 1, 2026.
- As an honest, convincing person with academic qualifications, you are able to competently and effectively organize and accompany the strategic management as well as the demanding development and innovation processes of ASP GR as a member of a collegial body.
- Thanks to strong communication skills and the ability to think strategically as well as a flexible, interdisciplinary, and process-oriented working method, you can promote open dialogue and contribute purposefully and prudently to the change processes within the university school council.
- You know the training offers and education policy at the cantonal and national levels. Thanks to your profile, you are familiar with teacher training offers at all educational levels and have the necessary political sensitivity for current education-related topics. You have proven and solid competencies to support ASP GR in facing current and future challenges related to education in the trilingual Canton of Grisons. You know the political processes of the Canton.
- As a motivated person with a connection to the Canton of Grisons, you contribute significantly both to inter-cantonal and intra-cantonal cooperation and to connecting the institution with relevant actors and partners at the regional level. Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage.
