Pictet AM's Product Research & Development team plays a strategic role in managing and shaping the firm’s global investment product range with a core focus on UCITS and alternative mutual funds. Based across Geneva and London, we aim to design investment solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs, ensure the long-term competitiveness of our offerings, and leverage both investment opportunities and our expertise. 

Your role

As a Product Developer for investment products, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of mutual funds and other regulated investment vehicles — from idea generation to launch, repositioning, mergers, and closures. Your work centres on financial product structuring, regulatory frameworks, and the strategic evolution of our fund range.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead product development from idea generation to delivery, including launches, repositioning, mergers and closures of UCITS, AIFs and other pooled investment products.


• Assess proposals for client value and strategic alignment.


• Monitor investment products and recommend improvements.


• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive collaboration.


• Manage internal product communications including updates to stakeholders.


• Improve product development processes.


• Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.


• Engage in product development tools enhancement.

Your profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.


• 5+ years in asset management, ideally in product strategy or development.


• CFA or CAIA a plus


• Strong grasp of investment strategies; ETFs or tokenisation a plus.


• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and idea-generation skills.


• Excellent project management and analytical capabilities.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.


• Proactive, results-driven, and passionate about innovation in asset management.


• Comfortable working in a multicultural, multi-location environment.


• Proficient in AI tools (MS Copilot, Perplexity) and MS Office; Bloomberg/Tableau a plus.


• ESG and SFDR knowledge a plus


• Fluent in French and English; other language a plus.


• Based in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
