We are looking for an assistant physician to join our hospital psychiatry team of the ARC Network in Switzerland. In this full-time role, you will work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide high-quality psychiatric care to our patients in a hospital setting.
Job Description
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations of patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the psychiatric team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications under the supervision of a physician
- Participate in the hospital service's continuity of care system
- Intervene in crisis situations and provide emergency psychiatric care, if necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Participate in the development and implementation of hospital psychiatric protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Possession of a medical degree or an equivalent title recognized by the Federal Commission of Medical Professions (MEBEKO) is mandatory.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.
- A strong commitment to medical training and knowledge dissemination is required.
- Proficiency in French at a minimum B2 level is necessary.
