Company Description
Our company operates in industrial services for the operation and maintenance of infrastructure facilities and energy distribution networks for customers from various industries, including pharmaceuticals and chemicals. We support our customers in reducing their CO2 footprint and energy consumption. For this purpose, we rely on technically innovative solutions that we use in the interest of environmental protection. Our company employs around 70 people.
We are looking for a committed and experienced individual in Basel as
QHSE Manager / Safety Officer 100% (Resourcer*)
Job Description
Your tasks with us:
Consulting and supporting management, managers, and employees in all matters of occupational health and safety
Development and implementation of company-wide HSE policies, safety concepts, and management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) with continuous adaptation to legal requirements
Ensuring compliance with legal regulations (occupational safety, environmental law)
Conducting risk assessments, investigating accidents and near-misses, and developing and implementing protective measures
Planning and conducting internal audits, safety inspections, as well as training and emergency drills for all employees and managers
Development of HSE key figures, preparation of regular management reports with trend analyses, and documentation for certifications
Promoting a safety culture: raising awareness of HSE topics among all employees, establishing safety as a corporate value, and building an open reporting culture
Assuming the role of Safety Officer (SiBe)
Qualifications
How you inspire us:
Completed vocational training or studies in health, safety & environmental protection with further training as a Safety Officer (e.g., EKAS-recognized training, SiFa, SiBe)
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
Solid knowledge of Swiss legislation in occupational health and safety
Basic knowledge of occupational medicine and its relevance to occupational safety
Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English or French skills
Analytical thinking and solution-oriented working style
High sense of responsibility and initiative
Strong communication and assertiveness skills
Very good PC skills
