Head of Communication

The Communication Department is part of the overall church services of the Reformed Church in the Canton of Zurich. It contributes to a positive perception of the national church and its parishes in the public, informs about the church's fields of action and offerings, and is responsible for relationships and networking with other churches and religious communities as well as other bodies.

You are responsible for the strategic management and further development of the national church's communication work as well as the content-related, personnel, and operational leadership of the department with currently twelve employees. Together with your interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for external and internal communication as well as the public appearance of the national church and support parishes and employees of the GKD in communication matters. In addition, you are a member of the GKD management team.

You have a university degree in communication or a related field as well as several years of leadership and organizational experience, ideally in a church or public environment. As an integrative and communicative personality with innovative strength and analytical thinking, you are characterized by proven skills in strategic and political communication, media work, and digital transformation and are a member of the Evangelical Reformed Church.
