Your tasks:As a banquet and event manager, you plan, organize, and coordinate banquets and events with great passion and professionalism. With your pronounced organizational talent, your sense for guest and customer needs, and your structured way of working, you ensure that every occasion – from a small aperitif to a large corporate event – becomes an unforgettable experience. You are the competent contact person for customers and guests and design events precisely according to their wishes. You ensure communication with all internal interfaces and external partners and contribute significantly to smooth processes and successful collaboration.
- You actively build new customer contacts and maintain long-term, appreciative relationships with existing customers
- You conduct sales talks with guests before, during, and after events and ensure that their wishes and expectations are recognized and optimally implemented
- You create offers and plan events according to individual customer wishes, coordinate workflows, and closely coordinate with adjacent departments to ensure smooth operations
- You develop effective communication measures in collaboration with the external advertising and marketing agency, coordinate campaigns, and are responsible for the creative implementation across various channels
- You accompany events on-site, ensure the desired execution, support the team situationally in operational business, and ensure that guests' expectations are met
- You take over the follow-up of events, record customer satisfaction, and maintain relationships long-term to build sustainable customer loyalty and retention
- You handle all administrative tasks from offer creation to invoicing, ensuring all processes are transparent, correct, and timely
- You share responsibility for the successful event and banquet area, inspire customers and guests alike, and make a significant contribution to the positive positioning of our company
- You have completed vocational training, several years of professional experience in sales, and have initial experience in marketing or a comparable environment. In addition, you have successfully completed further education at a higher hotel management school
- You are an experienced professional from the hospitality industry and know the workflows and requirements of the banquet and event business
- You bring solid service experience in à la carte service – especially in the banquet and event area – and know the corresponding workflows from your own practice
- You have sufficient and successful leadership experience, whether in regular operations or with ad hoc assembled teams
- You bring business management knowledge, think analytically, and act cost-consciously
- You convince with pronounced sales talent and understand how to build strong, sustainable customer loyalty through your professional and personal manner
- You are a communicative, winning person and easily approach guests, build trust, recognize their wishes, and maintain a positive, personal relationship with each guest
- You work proficiently with digital communication tools, are familiar with common social media platforms, and navigate confidently within legal and data protection frameworks
