Receptionist in the Septic Surgery Department
The Septic Surgery Department is looking for a receptionist at a 70% activity rate to complete its team from November 1, 2025.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and education.
The Septic Surgery Department is a multidisciplinary service specialized in the treatment and comprehensive management of complex wounds and infected orthopedic prostheses. It includes an inpatient sector and an outpatient sector.
Mission
- You ensure the reception of patients, their relatives, visitors, and collaborators, respecting the CHUV's guiding principles
- You handle the administrative management of outpatients according to the procedures of the Patient Administrative Management Service (GAP)
- You ensure communication between desk staff and other services within the institution
- You support the teams by performing various occasional tasks related to your skills and promote a collaborative work environment
- You adopt a reception and service-oriented attitude at all times and with all your interlocutors
- You replace your colleague for 5 weeks per year at 100%; vacation periods are planned at the beginning of the year.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a reception position
- You have excellent written and spoken French and a good knowledge of the healthcare system
- You are versatile, organized, autonomous, and able to manage several files simultaneously
- You demonstrate good team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
- You are comfortable with MS Office and ideally with CHUV institutional tools (Axya, Ultragenda, Medex, Soarian, Archimède)
