The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants and about 3,100 students. The Dietikon school currently comprises six school units. It has many years of experience in the field of special education and integration.
6 children attend the small group and partly the regular kindergarten as part of an ISR setting. The workload is spread over 5 days. 1 lesson is available for advisory tasks and exchange in the multiprofessional team. After settling into the small group, the children will attend a regularly assigned kindergarten in their residential neighborhood according to an individual plan, initially for a few hours, then, whenever possible, for longer periods.
We are looking for competent and motivated social pedagogues, childcare specialists, or similarly qualified professionals to lead a small group at the kindergarten level starting the new school year 2025/26.
Your tasks
Contribute your social pedagogical knowledge to the multiprofessional team
Structuring the daily routine
Openness and willingness to dialogue with parents
Accompany a child to the regular kindergarten after the familiarization period
Your profile
Experience or enthusiasm for working with children, including those with behavioral challenges
Degree in social pedagogy (or other training, e.g., childcare specialist)
Patience, resilience, flexibility
Experience and skill in interdisciplinary collaboration and in supporting parents
Experience and skill in guiding school assistants in the small group and in care
Competence and integrative attitude in advising school assistants to ensure successful participation of their students
