The Office for Information Technology (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich.
It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for the directorates, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the office accompanies the canton into the digital world.
The Office for Information Technology of the Canton of Zurich has grown significantly in recent years and plays a key role in shaping the digital future of the cantonal administration. The topics are becoming broader, the pace is increasing, and expectations are rising. This also increases the demands for professional and forward-looking leadership support for the CIO and the executive management.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a service-oriented, confident, and organizationally strong personality who keeps an overview in a demanding environment and enjoys making an impact.
Your tasks:
- You are the strategic hub between the CIO, executive management, and internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Prioritization and management of the CIO's agenda as well as ensuring smooth information flow.
- Preparation and quality assurance of presentations, decision templates, and documents for the executive management.
- Coordination of complex topics and support of projects with high visibility.
- Organization and moderation of meetings and events of the executive management.
- Proactive improvement of processes and implementation of innovative concepts.
- Support of communication officers and active shaping of internal communication.
Your profile:
- Commercial basic training with further education as an executive assistant or comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in demanding assistant and leadership support functions.
- Organizational talent with leadership flair and enjoyment of complex challenges.
- Digital affinity and sense for strategic contexts.
- Confident German language skills as well as excellent communication skills.
- High independence, discretion, and reliability.
- Routine in handling modern work tools and digital processes.
