For our unique museum, we are looking for employees for the 2026 season (April 9 to November 1, 2026) who can share their expertise and joy of the museum with our guests from all over the world.
Driver Ballenberg Railway, 3 days per week à 7.5 hours per day
Area Supervisor, for 2-4 days per week à 7.5-8.25 hours per day
Guides for international tours in foreign languages (English and Chinese), hourly on call
Craftsperson
- Bread baking, 2 days per week, depending on visitor numbers 4-8 hours per day
- Cooking (tasting for guests), 3-5 days per week à 6 hours per day
- Basket weaving, 20 days during the season à 7.5 hours per day
- Blacksmithing, 2-5 days per week à 7.25 hours per day
- Pottery, 2-3 days per week à 8.5 hours per day
- Bricklaying, 1 day per week (May-Sept.) à 8 hours per day
Museum guide for school classes and workshops in foreign languages (French, Italian, English), assignments on call with focus on May/June and August/September
Park service assignments hourly on call during holiday periods and on weekends
Stationary guest supervisor, for 2-4 days per week à 6-7 hours per day
In active exchange with guests, the guest supervisors dedicate themselves to a historical topic in one of the buildings: e.g. butter making, hands-on house, kiosk, coffee shop, stories of the houses and residents, etc.
Individual work areas can be combined.
