About the job
On Friday mornings, you will work in a specialized teaching class of cycle 2, which is assigned to you in accordance with the mission of Alter École. This reinforced class is located in the premises of Alter École in Tavannes and accommodates four students who require intensive support. The students in this class have autism spectrum disorders, accompanied by challenging behaviors; they need adapted support and an individualized organization of the space.
You can rely on the presence of a teaching assistant during the students' attendance times. A team of two teachers covers the 31 weekly periods of the class.
In collaboration with the educational team, you plan and prepare your lessons referring to the PER and the individualized project of each student. You create favorable learning conditions adapted to our students. You encourage and supervise interactions between students and promote their autonomy.
Profile sought
- Bachelor of Science in Social Education or
- Master's degree in Special Education or Curative Pedagogy
- A CAS in Autism is an asset
- Flexibility regarding the students taken care of
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary and institutional teams
Start date: August 1, 2026, or by agreement
Duration of the mandate: indefinite (permanent contract)
