District Forester

The forestry district of the municipality of Arosa has a forester position to be filled, therefore we are looking for a(n) starting March 1, 2026 or by arrangement

Tasks

The Arosa forestry district covers 4,200 ha of municipal and private forest with an allowable cut of 10,000 m3. As part of a team of three district foresters, you will take over the management of the Arosa district with the municipal forestry operations. In addition to the core tasks of forest management in protective forest, timber management, and natural hazard control, there are special tasks in the area of occupational safety.

Requirements

• Diploma from an international forestry school HF or equivalent education
• Experience in forest management
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license category B
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
